Interscan Metal Recycling is the metals arm of Interscan Limited, a UK road haulage and logistics business operating from Uxbridge. Because the fleet is ours, your scrap is collected by vehicles we license, insure and track — not by whichever subcontractor happens to be free.
What we do
We buy, collect, sort and process ferrous and non-ferrous scrap for UK mills, foundries and refiners. Loads are weighed on a calibrated bridge, graded to standard trade codes, and paid by BACS the same working day.

The scrap trade has a reputation, some of it earned. These are the commitments that answer it.
The ticket is the truth
Gross and tare on a calibrated bridge, printed before sorting begins. Every deduction for moisture, attachments or contamination is itemised, not folded into a quietly lower rate.
Graded in front of you
We grade to standard trade codes and test with handheld XRF where the alloy matters. You are welcome to stand and watch it happen, or watch the camera feed.
Paid properly, or not at all
BACS to a named, verified account the same working day. We cannot pay cash and would not want to: the Scrap Metal Dealers Act 2013 exists because cash payment made metal theft easy.
Paperwork that outlives the load
Waste transfer notes on every collection, kept for the statutory period. Under Duty of Care your liability follows the metal, so the trail matters long after the truck has gone.
